KITESURFING

Welcome into the amazing world of kiteboarding! Last born of the extreme sports family, kiteboarding, or kitesurfing (or even flysurfing as the French used to call it) is with no doubt the 21st century water-sport! All the kite addicted keep wondering :

"Why haven't we started earlier????"

The combination of a kite and a board strapped to the feet works just great! Over the simple pleasure of riding, the rider also feels closer to nature, and is able to jump and do tricks at an impressive height over the water!

You will need between 2 and 5 days (from 8 to 20 hours) to be able to go and practice kiteboarding on your own, without the support of an instructor. The number of hours needed to reach that level will depend on your physical conditions, as well as on the technical knowledge you may have got from other sports, such as snowboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, kite flying, etc…

However, that sport will require to be in pretty good physical conditions, and anyone agrees to say that kiteboarding has to be learnt in an appropriate school, with the support of professional instructors in order to learn in safe conditions.
