The kiteboard school is located in the buildings of the CNW(Wimereux sail club), next to Boulogne Sur Mer, on the opale coast.

Close to Paris, Belgium and Great Britain, the kiteboard school is open from April the 1st until November, and provides kiteboarding and landkiting courses, as well as gear rental.

Depending on weather and wind direction, lessons are conducted at different locations, mostly around Wimereux, but still may take place on other spots, like Ambleteuse, Wissant, Boulogne or Equihen.

The schedules of the courses depend on the tide. They can take place between 9h30AM and 8h00PM. Call us 1 or 2 days before the course for the schedule confirmation.

We will get on the appropriate spots by boat, or with a 4 wheel drive car. Just come to the school, we will take care of taking you to the lessons' spot!

The spots

Wimereux, Ambleteuse, Boulogne, Wissant, Equihen are a few of our prime teaching locations. They are huge and beautiful beaches, especially appropriate for kiteboarding, with great wind conditions all year long.

The Team

Wimkite is FFVL registered, and managed by Thomas Husnu RUMELIOGLU, professionally state qualified, and sail instructor since 1995.

After having worked as an instructor in the Axel'Air kitesurf school during both 2003 and 2004 seasons, as well as a sail instructor and sail instructor trainer in several UCPA centers during 7 years, Husnu Thomas has chosen Wimereux to be the place where he will have the opportunity to provide his services and knowledge to all the extreme sports addicts!

Thomas Husnu has taken part in many kiteboard contests' organisations, and has been a kiteboard judge during several national contests.

EFK labelized kiteboard school

Our international ffvl labelized kiteboard school has been thought and designed in order to provide top quality courses, filling 100% of the criteria required to be a EFK (French Kite School) kiteboard school.
